I first came to know about her through the Arrehma Institute.I thought it would be the same as most of the counselling sessions I already tried but when I started answering questions she sent me on WhatsApp I realized my worth. Nobody told me to go eat gulabjamun my favourite dessert before when I was down only she told me this. She made me realize my purpose in life she encouraged me to help others she told me that you get self-contentment by helping others I started practising what she told me and I was surprised how right she was. She is a beautiful soul helping others in need for the sake of Allah.I just pray may Allah helps her the way she helps His creation Amen.

We had been married for 5 years and, honestly, things weren’t feeling the same anymore. Between work, kids, and just life, we started drifting apart. We’d argue over the smallest things and never really understood why. A friend recommended Counselling, and it was such a blessing, Alhamdulillah!

From the first session, we felt heard and understood. Our counsellor created such a comfortable space where we could really open up. She helped us work through our communication issues and reminded us of why we fell in love in the first place. It was like hitting the reset button on our marriage. Now we’re closer than ever, and we’re so grateful for the tools we’ve learned to keep our connection strong. Highly recommend them for anyone who feels like they’re stuck or just needs that extra support!

We were going through some tough times last year. Yousuf was struggling with work stress, and I was dealing with postpartum emotions after our second baby. It felt like we were both on separate islands, and no matter how much we cared for each other, we just couldn’t get on the same page. It was hard. That’s when we reached out to Counselling, and SubhanAllah, it was the best decision we made. She really understood the challenges of balancing marriage, family, and faith. The sessions weren’t just about fixing the issues but also about building a stronger foundation for our relationship. We learned so much about each other, and with the guidance we received, we feel like a team again. We’re finally in sync, Alhamdulillah! If you’re struggling, don’t wait—this service is such a game-changer.

I was at a point where I felt completely lost. My husband and I had been married for a few years, and while everything seemed fine on the outside, I was struggling internally. Between cultural expectations, balancing work, and keeping up with everything else, I felt like I was losing myself. I didn’t even know how to talk to my husband about what I was going through.

That’s when I found Sayyida, and honestly, it was like a lifeline. My counsellor made me feel so safe and understood—like she got me. She helped me untangle all the emotions I was dealing with and gave me practical ways to communicate better with my husband and even with myself. It felt like a huge weight had been lifted, Alhamdulillah. I’m in such a better headspace now, and my relationship with my husband has improved so much too. For anyone in Australia or beyond, I can’t recommend her enough—it’s worth it.

As a working mom with three kids, I was completely overwhelmed. I felt like I was failing at everything—my marriage, my deen, my role as a mother. I’d cry over the smallest things and couldn’t figure out how to break out of this cycle of stress and guilt. It felt like no one around me really understood what I was going through.

Then I came across Sayyida, and I thought, ‘What do I have to lose?’ SubhanAllah, it was exactly what I needed. My counsellor not only helped me process everything I was feeling but also gave me strategies to manage my time and stress in a way that aligned with my faith. She reminded me that it’s okay to ask for help and take care of myself too. It’s been a few months now, and I feel like a new person. My husband even commented on how much happier I seem, and that’s all thanks to this service.

I thought I was supposed to be happy after having my baby, but honestly, I felt like I was drowning. The pressure to be a perfect mother, the lack of sleep, the hormonal changes… it all took a toll on me. I started feeling anxious, irritable, and just so overwhelmed. My husband and I would argue all the time, and I felt like I was failing as a mother and a wife. It was a dark time.

That’s when I reached out to Sayyida, and it was like a ray of hope. My counsellor understood exactly what I was going through and helped me work through my postpartum depression. She didn’t judge me or tell me to ‘just be grateful’ like some others did. She listened, and she guided me with such kindness and compassion. I’m grateful for the tools I learned in those sessions. I’m still healing, but I feel like I can finally breathe again, Alhamdulillah. If you’re struggling with postpartum depression or anything else, don’t hesitate to reach out to Sayyida.

Amal, UAE

I never thought I’d be the one going through a divorce, especially not after having two beautiful kids. But life had other plans. The stress of raising kids on my own, dealing with the emotional aftermath of my divorce, and trying to keep up with everything else was taking a toll on my mental health. I felt like I was losing myself in the process.

My counsellor helped me work through my emotions, validated my feelings, and gave me practical advice on how to co-parent with my ex-husband. She reminded me that it’s okay to not have all the answers and that I didn’t have to do it alone. The sessions were like a safe haven for me – a place where I could be myself without fear of judgment. I’m still navigating this new chapter of my life, but I feel more confident, more in control, and more at peace, Alhamdulillah. May Allah bless you and your family Sayyida.

I reached out to Salaam at a time when I was at my lowest and feeling desperate. I had no one to turn to and when looking at options for Counselling, some were very expensive. But my counsellor was just wonderful. I felt that in my dark days, this person was willing to give me their time, listen to my worries and give me practical advice. I will be forever grateful for such support.

I reached out to counselling during one of the most challenging times in my life. I was struggling with overwhelming emotions, feeling unheard, trapped, and deeply unhappy in my personal life. The pressures of marriage, societal expectations, and unresolved trauma left me feeling hopeless, depressed, and questioning my self-worth. Recurring nightmares, emotional suppression, and constant external criticism only added to my distress. Through my sessions with Salaam, I was able to express my thoughts in a safe, non-judgmental space. My counsellor provided me with emotional support, validation, and Islamic guidance that helped me navigate my struggles with clarity. I learned how to set healthy boundaries, process my emotions, and begin the journey toward self-acceptance. Most importantly, I realized that my feelings were valid and that healing is a gradual process. This experience has been incredibly beneficial in helping me regain a sense of control over my life. I have started to develop coping mechanisms, work towards self-improvement, and understand that my worth is not defined by others’ opinions. Salaam has been a source of comfort, allowing me to take steps towards emotional and spiritual well-being. I am truly grateful for the guidance and support I received, and I would highly recommend their services to anyone facing similar struggles.

I came across Salaam Counselling while I was going through a rough patch in my life. It provided a sounding wall for me and my emotions and helped me put into words the feelings I didn’t know how to describe. The resources provided, ie exercise books in identifying childhood trauma were both hard and eye-opening for me. Overall, the experience allowed me to get closer to Allah and understand my traumas.

My counsellor supported me through some of the most challenging times in my life with a balanced approach that combined both Islamic and psychological guidance. She listened attentively and offered thoughtful advice as I navigated heartbreak, adjusted to life as a newly practising Muslimah, and faced the challenges that came with it, including loneliness. She also guided me through my family’s struggles, patiently listening to me, and always offering her understanding and support even when she was busy. I still remember when she reminded me of the story of Ibrahim عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ and his father while I was sharing my family issues — it shifted my perspective and gave me comfort. I am grateful to have had a safe space to express myself freely to someone who shares my faith, without fear of judgment.
